December Member of the Month!!! Tony Andreaccio
1. How did you find CrossFit?
A friend did crossfit for some time and told me all about it. I was ready to really get intense about my health after an unwanted break and crossfit just seemed like the jump start I needed.
3. What do you do for a living?
I own a pest control company. I'm also a DOTERRA Wellness Advocate and I'm working on building a career in photography and aerial photography. I'm also slowly pursuing a Digital Art degree.
4. What are you goals?
5. Why do you CrossFit?
Because it's the best environment I've experienced to motivate me to exercise. The trainers are great, but the other folks I work out with keep me coming back. There's a camaraderie I've never experienced anywhere else before.
6. Any advice for future CrossFitters?
Don't give up. Immerse yourself, and those things that seem difficult or impossible today will become a distant memory. I'm amazed by the things I'm able to do today that just a few months ago were a struggle. Today, I'm happy to report that I no longer cry when I do burpees or wall balls.
7. Favorite WOD Music
High energy, fast beat. If it's moving fast so am I.
8. If you could have any super power, which and why?
Telepathy. People can be so deceptive. It would be nice to just cut through and get to the truth.
9. Favorite place you've ever been?
My favorite place is a place I haven't been to yet. I'm obsessed with Belize. One day I'm going to disappear and that's where you'll not find me.
10. Who inspires you?
A lot of people inspire me. I love creative people. I'm amazed by the things in this world that people have invented, created and built - tall buildings, big machines, incredible works of art.
11. Are you superstitious and/or OCD?
Not superstitious or OCD at all. I have a similar wiring issue though in the form of a tic disorder, so I rarely stop moving.
12. Favorite quote?
13. WHAT KEEPS YOU MOTIVATED?
14. What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is that someone will figure out my greatest fear and use it against me. 😉
15. What can't you live without?
My dogs. I almost never even leave home without a dog by my side.
16. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My number one dream was to get my pilots license, and I worked hard to get it about ten years ago. I don't fly anymore, but that piece of paper reminds me everyday that I can do anything.
17. What is your motto (words you live by or that mean a lot to you)?
I've been saying this long before it was on t-shirts - Life is good! I never want to focus on the negative and I rarely will share when things are difficult. I figure if I look at the good things that God has given me then the bad things will just fade away into my past. I've been so blessed in so many ways, how could I not declare that life is good.
