1.     How did you find CrossFit?
The very first time I heard about Crossfit was about 3 years ago, from my brother.  He had just started doing Crossfit and was very excited about it.  When he described to me what he was doing (The WOD’s) I thought to myself he was completely out of his mind.   A year later, I ran into some friends who had started crossfit and saw that their lives had been completely transformed by it, in a very good way!  I decided to give it a try myself and have had the same great experiences.
 
2.     What is your favorite CrossFit exercise or WOD?
Back Squats and Cleans and split jerks

           
3.      How long have you been CrossFitting?

 2 ½ years
 
4.     What do you do for a living?

I am an Operations Manager for Wesco Aircrafts, we are a chemical/aircraft parts supply management company. I also work PT for DNX a company who started in 2016 they make Grass feed beef and bison bars.
5.      What are your hobbies?

            Gardening, Cooking, Farmers markets, hiking, entertaining and spending time with friends and family.
 
6.     What are you goals?
 As for Crossfit, I would like to be able to get some PULL UPS this year, recover from a few injuries and keep challenging myself.
 

7.   Any advice for future CrossFitters?
Don’t let the exercise (WOD’s) intimidate you, you can scale to what level feels right.  Always challenge yourself because you won’t believe what you can do.  At the end of the day, when you have finished the workouts the results that you see will be will be the greatest feeling you will have.
 

8. If you could have any super power, which and why?
 
The ability to fly, so I could go and see all sorts of places and the sense of being free...

 Itacare, Bahia-Brazil
 

10. Who inspires you?

 My most awesome Mom!!
 
11. Favorite quote?
“When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening.  That’s where the power is!”-unknown
 

12. WHAT KEEPS YOU MOTIVATED?
My daughter, she makes my day every day and I want to be healthy for her.

13. What can't you live without? 
My morning coffee and working out.
 
14. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
 I would say adopting my daughter on my own has been the greatest achievement.
 
15. What is your motto (words you live by or that mean a lot to you)?
Always treat others the way you want to be treated and life is too short to live with regrets.
 
16. WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK?

A lot of things but I will list a few… the feeling of accomplishment after every and each one of the work-outs, the friends at the gym, the coaches the entire Crossfit community is amazing.  I couldn’t image my life without all of it!
